By accessing or using LinkShort ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Tooldit. If you disagree with any part of these terms, do not use the Service.

LinkShort is a URL shortening service that allows users to create short links, track analytics, and integrate via API. The Service is developed and operated by Tooldit. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to the following when creating and maintaining an account:

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
• You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service
• Only one account per person is permitted
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to use the Service to:

• Shorten URLs containing malware, viruses, ransomware, or other harmful software
• Distribute spam or phishing links intended to deceive users
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of any party
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or third parties
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Distribute child exploitation material or content that sexualizes minors

Access to the LinkShort API is subject to the following conditions:

• API keys are personal, non-transferable, and must not be shared publicly
• Do not embed API keys in publicly accessible code repositories
• Rate limits apply according to your subscription plan
• Abuse of the API, including excessive requests or automated attacks, may result in suspension
• We reserve the right to modify the API, including endpoints, request formats, and rate limits, with reasonable notice

LinkShort offers both free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

• A free plan is available with usage limitations as described on our Pricing page
• Paid plans are billed monthly through our payment processor, Paddle
• No refunds are issued after a payment has been processed
• Paid plans include a 14-day free trial for new subscribers
• We may change pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

All intellectual property rights in the Service are and remain the exclusive property of Tooldit:

• The LinkShort name, logo, and brand identity are proprietary to Tooldit
• Your content (URLs, titles, metadata) remains your property
• By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your URLs and related data for the purpose of providing the Service
• You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or redistribute our software, UI, or documentation without express written permission

We take your privacy seriously. The collection, use, and protection of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tooldit disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Guarantees of 100% uptime or uninterrupted access to the Service
• Accuracy or completeness of analytics data
• Responsibility for the content or nature of shortened URLs

We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for any content or website linked through our Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tooldit and its directors, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time:

• We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms
• We may terminate accounts for abusive behavior or threats toward our team
• Non-payment of applicable fees may result in service suspension
• You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard settings

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or our data retention policy.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Send an email notification to all registered users for significant changes

Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
