Is LinkShort really free to start?
Yes. The Free plan gives you 100 short links per month, 1,000 clicks tracked, 1 custom domain, basic analytics, custom slugs, and bulk-create up to 10 links at once. No credit card required.
Can I use my own custom domain?
Yes. Free includes 1 custom domain, Pro 3, and Business 10. Setup is a single DNS record, and SSL is issued and renewed automatically, so your short links stay on your brand.
Do you offer a free trial for paid plans?
Both Pro ($10 / month) and Business ($30 / month) include a 14-day free trial. No credit card to start; you only need one to continue past day 14.
What analytics do I get?
Free shows total clicks, country, device, and browser. Pro unlocks full referrer and time-series breakdowns. Business adds CSV export of every click event for your data warehouse.
Is there a developer API?
Yes, a REST API with predictable JSON, an OpenAPI spec, and webhooks on every click. Bulk-create up to 10 links per request on Free, 100 on Pro, and 1,000 on Business.
Can I expire a link or make it single-use?
Yes. Free supports up to a 7-day expiry and 10 single-use links per month. Pro and Business unlock any expiry duration and unlimited single-use links.
How fast is the redirect?
Redirects are served from a global CDN, so visitors are routed to the nearest edge for a fast hop to the destination. Typical redirects resolve in well under a second.
What happens if I hit my plan limit?
You receive an email warning at 80% usage. At 100%, new-link creation pauses until the next billing cycle, and existing links keep redirecting. Upgrades take effect instantly.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your billing dashboard at any point. Your paid access stays active until the end of the current billing period; we do not prorate refunds for partial periods.
